The proverbial simplicity of the terms in those which is unfolded the score, and the rich orchestration of a Thomas Pasatieri especially concerned about the melodic evolution through the wind games (flute - english horn) and strings (violin - cello), are the most important advantages of this magnificent score with which Newman achieves to merge with unquestionable precision the eclecticism of his sonic formulations with the employment of a traditional symphonic band.
