Composing for documentary series becomes an ungrateful, arduous and, generally, slightly recognized job. Being aware of that, the composers of this TV series about the shortages of the Third World has tried to offer a "positive and dynamic" counterpoint (following their words) to the dramatic and hard images which go with; the use of authoctonous materials, both in timbric as rhythm and melodic level, expedite the obtaining of the common objective followed by the series creators, as well by the differents ONGs which has participate on it. A wide unfolding of synthetizers and local instruments (guitars, flutes, percussion,...) shape the sound landscape of a beautiful and nice record which shows the enthusiasm put on it by its authors.
