1338. Samuel Tilden Neville. Born on 14 September 1876 in Holmes Co., OH. Samuel Tilden died in Canon City, CO, on 2 April 1965; he was 88.
"In the 1900s, new lands were opening in the prairie states. Sam and his family went west. They first tried Kansas and Nebraska, and in 1913, homesteaded half a section of land in Baca County, CO. They had eight children of which five reached maturity."
On 28 October 1897 when Samuel Tilden was 21, he married Alice Matilda Bucy, in Holmes Co., OH. Born on 24 October 1878 in Holmes Co., OH. Alice Matilda died in Canon City, CO, on 25 January 1958; she was 79.
