1865. John Ramsey Smith , Sr. Born on 11 July 1889 in Swanton, MD. John Ramsey died in Deer Park, MD, on 20 January 1978; he was 88. Buried in Deer Park Cem., MD. Occupation: Carpenter.

On 25 June 1916 when John Ramsey was 26, he married Nora Evelyn Glotfelty, daughter of Calvin Glotfelty & Mollie Eckhart. Born on 3 November 1889 in McHenry, MD. Nora Evelyn died in Ft. Ashby, WV, on 17 March 1985; she was 95.

On 17 September 1918 when Elizabeth Matilda was 20, she married Chester Thomas Hardesty, son of William Henry Hardesty & Louisa Jane Collins, in Baltimore, MD. Born on 8 March 1890 in Oliphant, PA (near Fairchance). Chester Thomas died in Cumberland, MD, on 19 August 1980; he was 90.

Death date otherwise reported as 25 Aug. 1980.
