He married on 15 Feb 1767 in New York, Manhattan, New York, Jemima Duyckman, christened 4 Oct 1749 in New York Dutch Church, Manhattan, New York, died 12 Feb 1813 in Saint John, Saint John County, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Cornelis Duyckman and Elizabeth Gendon.

    Henry was a Loyalist living at New York City during the Revolution. At the end of the war in 1783 he removed with other Loyalists to St. Johns, New Brunswick. He was a cordwainer or shoemaker by trade.

    As Henry Traphager of St John, St John County, New Brunswick he left a will dated April 26, 1817, proved 9 July 1818, and registered 20 May 1820. He left to his daughter Jane, wife of Thomas Sancton, Esq., his entire estate with the exception of bed and bedding to son Cornelius, and 5 pounds each to son Henry, daughter Martha and daughter Mary. Jehiel Partelow, Jr was made sole executor. The witnesses were John R. Partelow, Thomas Sandall, and Obadiah Purdy. Jehiel Partelow, Jr. was sworn as executor May 20, 1820.

  3. Jane,born 30 Aug 1776 in New Jersey; died 25 Aug 1821 in St John, New Brunswick; buried in Loyalist Cemetery, St John, New Brunswick. She married bef. 1817 in St John, New Brunswick, Thomas Sancton, born 8 Oct 1759 in Cockermouth, England; christened 4 Nov 1759 in All Saints Church, Cockermouth, Cumberland County, England, the son of John Sancton and Sarah Bunting. He died 23 Feb 1830 in St John, New Brunswick and is buried in Loyalist Cemetery, St John, New Brunswick.
  4. Mary, born abt. 1780 in New York, Manhattan, New York. Listed in fathers will but no spouse designated.
  5. Henry, born abt. 1785 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; died 23 Oct 1846 in Saint John, New Brunswick. He married on 13 Apr 1809 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Jane CLARK , born abt. 1793 in United States; died 1 Oct 1884 in Saint John, New Brunswick.
  6. Cornelius Duyckman, born abt. 1791 in Saint John, Saint John County, New Brunswick, Canada; died abt. 1855 in Berlin, Renssalaer County, New York. He married on 12 Oct 1815 in Saint John, Saint John County, New Brunswick, Canada, Rachel Kelly , born abt. 1791 in Saint John, Saint John County, New Brunswick, Canada; died aft. 1860 in Berlin, Renssalaer County, New York.
