Eycke Traphagen
1700 - ca 1730

ycke Traphagen was baptised July 14, 1700 at the
Kingston Reformed Dutch Church and named for her maternal grandmother Eycke Roosa. The
exact date of her death is uncertain but occurred between her appearance as a baptismal
sponsor in 1732 and her husbands remarriage in 1735. She married Cornelius Middagh about
1720 in Somerset County, New Jersey. Cornelius was baptized June 13, 1698 in the Brooklyn
Reformed Dutch Church, the son of Dirk Aertse and Catalintje (Van Neste) Middaugh.
Children of Henry and Eycke (Traphagen) Middagh:
- Dirk, bp. March 17, 1723 Raritan Reformed Dutch Church.
- Blandina, bp. November 8, 1724 Raritan, married William
Van Noortwyck.
- Dina, bp. April 30, 1727. Not mentioned in her father's
will.
- Henry, bp. April 15, 1730 Harlingen Reformed Dutch
Church.
