Roelof Traphagen

oelof Traphagen was baptised August 9, 1702 in the Kingston Reformed Dutch Church. He died about 1741 probably in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He married about 1728 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey Cornelia Potmon. Cornelia was born March 23, 1711 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, the daughter of David Potman

    Cornelia married second by NJ license April 14, 1749 in Hunterdon County to Christoffel Voghte. He was born about 1710 at Amwell, New Jersey and was a well to do farmer in Hunterdon County. He was a loyalist in the Revolution and resettled his family at Parrsborro, Nova Scotia after the war. He returned with his family to Duanesburgh, Albany County, New York where he died. Cornelia died there about 1809

  1. Sarah, b. June 19, 1729, bp. June 10, 1731 Harlingen Reformed Dutch Church. She married Gerrit Van Kouwenhoven about 1750 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
