ohannes Traphagen was baptized April 9, 1659 in New Amsterdam
Reformed Dutch Church, and died about 1726/1727 in Kingston, New York. He married Aagjen
Petersen Winne about 1709 in Kingston, Ulster, New York. Aagjen, baptized July 22, 1683 in
Kingston DC, the daughter of Peter and Jannetie (Pier) Winne. She died about 1717 in
Kingston, New York.
A Conveyance
by Trustees of Kingston, dated 1688 granted land to Johannis and William Traphagen. His
name appears on the Oaths of Allegiance for Ulster County as residing at Kingston
September 1, 1689. He is listed on numerous tax lists for Kingston from 1709 to 1721.
Johannes
married second Eva Zout\Sals January 25, 1718 in Kingston DC, Kingston, New York. Eva was
born in Germany and was the widow of Hans Jourian Louks (Laux).

- William bap. January 8, 1706 in Albany DC, Albany, New
York; d. about 1732 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York. He is on the List of Ulster
County Freeholders at Kingston 1728 and stood witness to the will of his aunt Helena
Burhans October 19, 1728. He made his will June 16, 1732 as a yeoman of Kingston, naming
his stepmother, Eva and sister Janiten. It was proved August 17, 1732.
- Alida, bap. October 10, 1708 in New York DC in New York
City; d. before 1726 in Ulster County, New York Not named in her fathers will.
- Aaltjen, bap. April 8, 1711 in Kingston DC; d. before
1726/1727 in Kingston, New York.
- Jannetjen, bap. September 27, 1713 in Kingston DC; d.
about 1736/1737 in Kingston, Ulster, New York. She married Willem Oosterhout November 24,
1733 in Kingston DC. Willem married as a widower (deceased wife not given) at Kingston DC
Sarah Hasbroek October 27, 1737 No children found in baptismal record of Kingston for wife
Jannetjen.
This family
appears to have died out with no descendants in either the male or female lines.
