FOREVER

I think sometimes, the day will never end
I'm not happy with the way I feel
I want so much for God to send
The miracle I need so I can heal

Sometimes this life can deal a bad hand
But I know it will always get better
I'm in my own head and I just want to land
Back in God's arms, So I send this letter

My Highest of powers, I need some assistance
Please put me where I belong
For I'm feeling a bit of resistance
Trying to lead again, but I'm not too strong

I must believe in my heart without a doubt
That you can turn it all around
So now I'm asking, I don't mean to shout
Look only right here, so I can be found

It's easy to drift when you take things for granted
I don't want to drift anymore
I seek only happiness, and I've always ranted
How you can make me whole for sure

It's not as easy for me, as it may be for others
But forever I must keep this in mind
If I keep praying for me, my sisters and brothers
For all of us, you will be kind
