A FRIEND FAR AWAY

I think of you as often as I can;
Of how we met and of distant far away lands.
We talk so much you and I,
It seems that time just flies.
Although you are so very far from me,
We have a special bond that time nor distance can steal away.
I enjoy the moments so true and dear.
I only wish you were right here.
And having a friend so far away makes me sad in a lot of ways.
Oh my far away friend, you have missed my smiles and my tears,
My joy and my fears, the laughter and the confusion.
But I will say this having you as a far away friend
Has brought me joy to no end.
