WOW! It is already March 1999. My birthday is next month in April and I will be two years old. I like birthdays but what really makes me happy is that summer comes right after my birthday and I can spend less time inside watching television and more time outside.

Since this will be my third summer I have been practicing my exploring skills inside. I like caves and may be a spelunker when I get older, maybe about six or seven.

I like exploring outside much more.
There are just so many more places to get into and much better caves to explore.
Say, I wonder where this goes.

During the long summer days I just seem to have more time to cruise around and check out the 'hood.
Hey! I think I will stop and get a rootbeer.

Of course it would not be summer without a little girl chasing.
The chicks in my neighborhood are really neat.

Summer is the best time for making new friends.
You never know who you will meet on long summer outings.

Let's head to the beach and cruse the dunes.

When I go exploring I also like to see what is over the next hill.
You just never know until you climb to the top.

And of course long warm days demand long trips on my bike.

During the summer I spend a lot of time in the parks.
I am very lucky, we have many wonderful parks where I live.

But I think the very best part of summer is going to the pool.
Playing in the water at the pool is almost as much fun as playing in the summer rain.
