| Rubeus appeared floating in front of his giant spaceship. He said his ship could detect the time-space distortion whenever the Rabbit tried to use her Time Key. The Sailor Senshi appeared (except for Sailor Moon, who was still running from Darien's apartment down to the street). Sailor Mars said they wouldn't let anything happen to Rini [she says "We won't let you take our pretty Chibiusa"]. The Scouts blasted Rubeus with all their attacks, but his ship's forcefield protected him. Rubeus sent an energy blast from his ship that knocked all the Scouts down. | Before they could fully recover, Rubeus activated another energy beam. It crushed everything in its path as it swept across to Rini. Sailor Mars said they had to combine their powers to repel the beam, but Mercury said they didn't couldn't do it without Sailor Moon. | |

| The Scouts agreed to try using the Sailor Planet Power anyway. Jupiter Star Power! Venus Star Power! Mercury Star Power! Mars Star Power! Sailor Planet Power! | Mars screamed at Rini to escape, but she was frozen in terror. Tuxedo Mask arrived and picked her up. He told the Scouts to get away too. Rubeus saw that the Rabbit was out of his grasp. "In that case..." | Rubeus increased the power from his ship's beam and broke the Sailor Planet Power. The helpless Scouts were sucked up into his spaceship. Serena arrived only seconds after Tuxedo Mask, but she didn't have her transformation brooch and couldn't do anything to stop Rubeus. |
  Serena screamed at Rini that it was all her fault. Hysterical, she went to slap Rini, but Tuxedo Mask stopped her. He held her wrist and said nothing. |
