Serena found herself as Sailor Moon, floating in a strange void with Rini, who had returned to her normal form. "Do you think we're dead?"

"If we saved everyone it was worth it", said Serena, "Right Rini?" Rini nodded her agreement.

The voice of Neo-Queen Serenity came to them. "You are not dead. Each of you used your power and wished to save the other."
Sailor Moon awoke in Tuxedo Mask's arms. Everyone was safe. Rini woke up too, and everyone was especially glad to see her.
The Dark Gate slowly dissolved. Back in Tokyo, the Black Crystal slowly disappeared as the sun rose and a new day dawned over the city. Luna and Artemis realized that everyone was alright. "Both Earth and Nemesis have been saved!"
Later in the bright, sunny park, Rini said her goodbyes.

"Bye Raye. One of these days tell me my fortune."
"Bye Amy. Help me with my homework again."
"Bye Lita. Thanks for all the yummy lunches."
"Don't wet your bed anymore," said Mina.
"I won't! We'll play again someday."

Serena and Rini both looked a little embarrased, but Darien and the others encouraged them. They embraced. "Goodbye Rini".

"Thanks Momma."
Rini activated the time key, and was gone.
