MCCLUNG'S CAVE
McClung's cave is located in West Virginia and has 2 entrances. The McClung's main entrance has been closed due to change in ownership. This is unfortunate because the cave has been visited, and enjoyed by many people over the years. The previous owner has passed away and the current owner does not wish to be disturbed. The Lightner entrance is owned by the West Virginia Cave Conservancy and is open to cavers. The cave has approximately 17 miles of surveyed passage and is not a cave for beginners! This cave is very complex and very difficult to traverse in places. ENJOY THE PHOTOS!
