COTTONWOOD CAVE
Cottonwood Cave is located in the Lincoln National Forest. The cave has a large walk-in entrance, and the first thing you see is a large display of huge formations standing in the daylight. The passage size is very large and some of the formations are almost 75 feet tall. Toward the rear of the cave you can descend a steep slope into the lower section of Cottonwood which is closed in the winter months due to bats hibernating.ENJOY THE PHOTOS!
