THE PIT
The cave is still being explored and mapped as of this time. The survey has over 2500 feet of passage so far. The cave is complex because it has multiple rope pitches along the route. The entrance has a 50-foot rappel, which is followed by a 12-foot rope climb to attain the passage beyond. Further into the cave another 40-foot rope climb leads up into the main body of the cave. This passage continues to the top of a 65-foot rappel into the lower section of the cave. There is one main passage branching off from the upper passage.ENJOY THE PHOTOS!
