The Chamberlains were formed back in July 1992 in Visalia, CA. The band has a wide variety of musical influences such as New-wave, electronic, and futuristic Pop, to name a few. Soon, they started to make their way. The Chamberlains consists of four members all of whom have been playing music for close to a decade. The group has played a series of shows over the past few years. The local shows consist of Cody's, Kimo's, Georgies, and Dohertys. The group has also performed at L.A's Whiskey-A-Go-Go, Al's Bar and The Coconut Teaser. The Fresno area club scenes included, Club Fred, The Wild Blue, The Fulton, Fresno State and Los Banos fair grounds. Back in 1994 the group captured a 2nd place win at the Visalia Battle of the Bands, which consisted of 17 central valley bands. In early October of 1997 the band finished recording their long awaited self-titled debut album "The Chamberlains". It contains 9 Tracks featured from their first 5 years. The mood of the music erupts with echoes of a distant guitar, intertwinded rhythmically to a sulky deep bass.The tide turns with the cascading of saddened melodies harped gently through a vengeful keyboard. The overwhelming percussion invades with chanting rolls and thick beats together all in one, to melt the overlaying lyrics which seep to find. In September of 1998 the group released their first cd. The band promoted their self titled album by performing at L.A's Coconut Teaser, Fresno's Lucky Lady Saloon and San Luis Obispo's Mid-county Fair and First Night New Years Eve Event in 1998. Local shows were played to benifit charities in the Visalia 1998 Aids Walk and the Porterville 24 Hour Cancer Fun Run. In March of 1999 the band started working on a new album featuring new and old materiel. The Chamberlains feature, (last but not least), as follows: Tommy Jones on vocals and guitar. Shane Vastbinder on bass, and the remaining members are the DeTroia twins. Beaux plays keyboards, and takes on roles with live sound and recording. Anthony is on drums. The group has overcome many obstacles and set backs, which only forshadow the next wave of serious sounds and emotions. We won't disclose any more secrets at this time??!!
