I am pleased to announce the release of XBIT4W v3.4, 
an extension of Windows TclTk for image acquisition, 
processing, presentation and production. A free package 
of XBIT4W (binary) and its related Tcl scripts documents are 
available at http://www.geocities.com/~chengye/soft.html

This is the release of XBIT4W which is based on XBIT v3.4 with
addition of

1) an OpenGL interpreter

2) a GLW widget and a glw image type for OpenGL rendering

3) a suite of OGLM commands for rendering 3D objects imported
   from wavefront obj files

4) a DDW widget based on DirectDraw for real-time image display
   and DirectShow video stream player (for avi, qt, mpg, etc).

5) demonstrations of GLW widget, glw image and DDW including a
   video player.

The DLLs include xbit76e4w.zip, xbit80e4w.zip, xbit81e4w.zip,
xbit82e4w.zip and xbit83e4w.zip for tcl7.6, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2.3, 8.3.2
respectively. Other files include xbitlib.zip and xbitdoc.zip.
