219. Johan Melchior⁸ STOCK (Johann Melchior⁹, Matthaus¹⁰) was born in Neuffen, Wurtemberg, Germany, December 2, 1725. He died 1798 in Middle Creek Township, Northumberland County, PA, at 72 years of age. His body was interred in Salem, Northumberland County, PA.

He married three times. He married Anna LAUBERTER(-IN) in Gorinchem, Netherland, November 25, 1747.⁽²⁶²⁾ She died circa 1748. Anna's occupation: Domestic. He married Ursula (KOEMPF) STEINLER(-LIN) after 1748/9. She was born in Stammheim, Wurtemberg, Germany March 8, 1727/8. She died August 1780 in Middle Creek Township, Northumberland County, PA, at 52 years of age. Her body was interred in Middle Creek Township, Northumberland County, PA. She became engaged to Johan Melchior STOCK in Stammheim, Wurtemberg, Germany, April 23, 1749. He married Anna Mary ARNOLD in Reading, Berks Co., PA, September 17, 1782. He became engaged to Ursula (KOEMPF) STEINLER(-LIN) in Stammheim, Wurtemberg, Germany, April 23, 1749. Melchior was naturalized September 17, 1765 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA. He was a Stonemason in his early days in Germany and this country, then was a farmer when the family moved to Middlecreek Township. Melchior's will was probated in Sunbury, Northumberland County, PA, May 5, 1798.

Matthius STOCK was born in Shaefferstown, Berks County, PA, July 25, 1751.⁽²⁶⁴⁾ He died September 25, 1824 in Varick, Seneca County, NY, at 73 years of age.⁽²⁶⁵⁾ His body was interred in Varick, Seneca County, NY.⁽²⁶⁶⁾ He married Margrith HERMAN(-IN) in Christ Lutheran, Shaefferstown, (Berks) PA, September 17, 1775. She was born March 2, 1757. She died March 11, 1839 at 82 years of age.⁽²⁶⁷⁾ Her body was interred in Varick, Seneca County, NY.⁽²⁶⁸⁾

Conflicting evidence states that Matthius was born April 1751.

222 iii. Joh: Peter STOCK was born in Shaefferstown, Berks County, PA, December 1752. He died May 23, 1797 at 44 years of age.

223 v. George STOCK was born in Shaefferstown, Berks County, PA, after 1755. He died May 2, 1837 at 81 years of age.

224 vi. Joh: Melchior STOCK Jr. was born, October 14, 1761. He died September 22, 1832 at 70 years of age. His body was interred in Selinsgrove, Snyder County, PA.⁽²⁶⁹⁾ He married Margareth UNKNOWN.

He was christened at Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg, Berks County, PA, November 8, 1761.
