Sunday, July 6

We managed to sleep in, having gone to bed so late, anyway. Immediately after breakfast, we began to strike the campsite. After having been to so many festivals, it is getting to be an easy matter, even routine.

Pulling out onto the road home, I thought back over the week. It had been a good week. I had gotten to know Rick more, as well as becoming friends with the Brothers Odell. I had seen some good, even some great, performances, as well as a few that I would just a well have liked to miss. I had laughed more this week than I have in many months. I had met some wonderful people; I was exposed to art, and created my own art at the Art Rageous tent. I had been challenged, and passed; I had been stretched, and out of it grew. It had been an exhausting week, but a good exhaustion. I didn't want it to end. I was ready to go home.
