Cookham Scouts have a very active programme of adventurous activities. Camps
and expeditions, over and above Summer Camp, happen whenever the Leaders and
PLC are able to organise them.

MOUNTAIN CAMPS
Each
year a number of events take place which help our members become more proficient
mountaineers, stronger at their navigation and great team members - equipping
them with all the tools of the trade to lead and organise successful and safe
expeditions into remote country at some point in the future.
Our
Mountain Camps are designed to stretch the individuals attending; put them into
places they normally might not go; work them to the limit of their abilities;
help add practical experience to the theory they learn in 'the hut' and generally
have fun in a group situation away from the normal confines of the Patrol organisation
in a safe, well managed, carefully planned environment.
These
reports of our adventures include snap-shots and may take a little while to
