You're always there at my side,
You help me everyday.
You never tell me yes or no,
You do just what I say.
My pal, buddy, companion, and friend,
You pick things up for me.
You've changed my life in many ways,
Independence now I see.
We've formed a special partnership
To last throughout the years,
Overcoming obstacles we face,
The laughter and the tears.
You give me strength to guide my life,
You made my life complete.
You helped me to experience
This world for walking feet.
Now people they don't really see
The wheelchair I must ride.
Instead they see my service dog,
Walking at my side.
