The heroic army of Afar Revolutionary Democratic Unity Front (ARDUF) after heavy and well co-ordinated offensive against EPLF army, liberated most of the territories of the Afar region.

The areas of Badda, Weerna, Ramlo, Wadde and surrounding localities are under complete control of ARDUF. Starting from May 25, 2000, our valiant army conducted serious offensives against the invading army of EPLF and completely destroyed and crushed the enemy forces. It is an open secret that for the last eight years our army is fighting continuously the army of EPLF and killed thousands of soldiers.

All these time the occupying army tried to cover and hide the losses and defeats suffered by the hands of our heroic army. However, today EPLF and its feeble army are completely defeated and expelled from most of the Afar regions. Moreover, our army controls and successfully denied access to the defunct army of EPLF from the southern tip of Massawa known as Edafalu to the northern tip of Assab. At this moment the bankrupt army of EPLF is totally isolated, cut-off and surrounded from all directions. This fact and the reality that our army is closing in on the port city of Assab are becoming the major source of fear and nightmare to the enemy.

Particularly, the down fall and capture of the main logistic supply root from Asmara to Assab by our heroic forces greatly increased the eventual down fall of Assab and the complete demise of the enemy. At this moment the EPLF army is surrounded and denied access to supplies and any kind of enforcement. Because of that our intelligence sources revealed that the disgruntled EPLF army is preparing to surrender. Very soon our gallant army will liberate all the Afar land by completely destroying the invading enemy forces once and for all.
