E-mail to San Francisco Chronicle Reporter Lewis Dolinsky

Dear Lewis Dolinsky:

I read your article today (HORN OF AFRICA CONFLICT BEGAN WITH A MAP) which is based on information by John Rude. I would simply like to inform you that Mr. John Rude is a highly partisan EPLF supporter. (The EPLF is the sole legal party in Eritrea). He is a member of the Eritrean e-mail network known as Dehai, and has written several highly inflammatory articles there. As an Ethiopian I consider his articles to be more warmongering than many written by Eritreans themselves.

Please visit my website for comprehensive information on the Ethiopia-Eritrea conflict:

http://www.oocities.org/~dagmawi/Eritrea-Ethiopia.html

I can provide you with documented evidence that completely refutes Mr. John Rude's statements. Not only that, I am particularly outraged because I had exchanged e-mail with Mr. John Rude on July 7 informing him of many of the demonstrably false statements that he was including in his writings.

Dear Sir: Is it in any way possible for me to provide you with an article explaining the Ethiopian view. I have at my website complete information, including the original Italy-Ethiopia treaties from 1902, Italian military maps from 1935 when Italy invaded Ethiopia, background on the conflict, links to a photo of Eritrean airforce pilots being trained in Ethiopia in 1996.. and much more.

I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Thank You
