Internet Explorer

1.Click on the file link.
2.You will be presented with a dialog box that will ask if you want to "open" the file, which will cache the file so you can hear it, but not make a copy on your hard drive, or "save to disc" for a full download. Make your selection and click OK.
3.Launch your .WAV editing software (Microsoft Media Player, Sound Recorder, or something more sophisticated, if you have it), locate and open the file, and brap away.

Netscape

The Web being the fragmented entity that it is,virtually nothing works the same way in all browsers. Opening and downloading works differantly in Netscape and Microsoft Internet explorer. If you are unsure what you are using, click on Help/About...in your browser toolbar for details about your software. AOL uses MSIE 3.01. Here's how to work with with .WAV files with your browser.

Updating your browser can be one of the most beneficial things you can do to enhance your Internet experience. The advent of third generation sites which incorporate tools such as cascading style sheets and javascripts are leaving the old world of boring, document oriented web pages behind. The problem is that all of these new methods are handled differantly, or not at all, by current browsers. The best solution to this is to have at least two browsers, a default browser, and one that you can use when the other doesn't work quite right. MSIE 3.01 (AOL's browser) cannot upload, so it is nesscary to have Netscape handy.
