Sculpted in 1992, Thameside was offered to guild members only, Spring 1993.
Cottage History:
This piece was shipped with a "not" a
bottle of Thames water! This piece would have been accompanied by a bottle of water
taken from the river Thames, but regulations prevented John Hine Studios from doing so,
instead they offered the next best thing, A bottle made from Crystacal mixed
with Thames water! From it's source in the Cotswold Hills to its estuary in the
North Sea, the Thames flows for more than 200 miles through some of England's most
beautiful countryside. Along the way are a myriad of riverside homes, Cottages
often almost inaccessible from land, so hidden along country lanes that you'd
hardly know they were there. Fabulous Cottage, with bay windows, window boxes and
David's signature mouse!
