Know all men by these
presents that we Thomas Bratcher & Jonathan anderson are held & firmly bound unto
his Excellency Charles Scott Esquire Governor of Kentucky & his Succefsors in office
in the penal sum of Fifty pounds to which payment well and truly to be made to our said
Governor & his Succefsors We bind ourselves our heirs Executors & Jointlly &
Severally firmly by these presents Witnefs our hands and seals this 17th Day of April
1810.
The
Condition of the above obligation is Such that whereas the above bound Thomas Bratcher and
Margaret Peggy Anderson have it in view to unite themselves in a state
of matrimony now if there should be no lawful cause to obstruct said union then the above
