| Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall
live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die.
Do you believe this? " John 11:25,26 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at
home in the body we are absent from the Lord-- we are of good courage, I say,
and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My
Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you;
for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will
come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He shall dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them, And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall no longer be
any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for
Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. |
