WHEN I AM DISAPPOINTED

We are disappointed when people, circumstances, and even ourselves fail to meet an expectation or hope. To be disappointed is to be frustrated and especially when things don't pan out the way we expect.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28
(God is in our trouble. God is up to something. God is up to something good.)

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
James 1:2,3
(God is at work, you are in training. God has a good purpose for all our trials.)

The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
Proverbs 16:9

Commit your works to the Lord, And your plans will be established.
Proverbs 16:3

Meditation: What we need is to endurance, to keep on going.

Mistakes prove that you attempted something. Babe Ruth struck out three times for every home run he hit. James J. Corbett, the famous boxer, was asked "What is the most important for a man to do to become a campion boxer?" "Fight one more round!" Corbett replied. When Walt Disney applied at the Kansas City Star for a job as an artist, the editor urged him to give up the idea. Zane Gray didn't sell a story his first five years of writing. And the first time George Gershwin played piano in public, the audience laughed him off the stage. (How To Get Up When you are down, Lowell Lundstrom, page 26)
