DENISE

Our daughter Denise was born
October 25th,1971, and died in
the delivery room.
Her death came as a great shock
to us and although I was able
to name her and attend her funeral,

I was not able to accept her death
totally until her 25th birthday this
past October.

This page is dedicated to her and to
all of the other little angels that
have come before and since her passing.

I would also like to mention that I felt
and still feel a great deal of loss
and emptiness for the five babies that I
only carried a few months.
Their lives counted too, the pain was as real,
and the emptiness as great as the pain I
suffered with Denise.

No one that has NOT lost a child
during prgnancy can tell us
"Everything will be alright you
can have another one"
You can NEVER replace THAT child....EVER.
Babies are one of a kind.
I know that they are all in the
hands of the Lord and safe from harm.
It is from this I gather my strength
in making this page.
Below are some of the poems that I
wrote to my daughter after her death…
I would like to add something here.
Doing this page for my daughter
was done to bring some
kind of closure for me as a mother
and to offer condolences and
hugs to other parents also grieving.
However almost everyone that writes
to me or speaks about the page
tells me of the tears it brought
to them, and that was never my
intention.
Please, try to read these in the manner
for which I wrote them and in
the way that I now bring them
to light here.
Thank
you.

Thank you MAGGIE

10/25/08 Thirty-Seven yrs ago today You were born but went away I never had a chance to say "I love you, wish that you could stay." In my arms your body lay All I could do was pray Hoping for a golden ray But silenty you slipped away

TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY MY DARLING DENISE My darling Denise Its your special day, And I miss you more than I can say. You are a part of me and will always be, In my heart for an eternity. I think of you often and want you to know, You were my sweet baby and I miss you so. I know your at rest in Gods heaven above, And your Angelic face fills heaven with Love. You touched my when I saw your eyes, And I often wipe the tears that I cry. Today I wonder who you would be, If you were not taken away from me. So my darling my wish for you, Is happiness while waiting for me to join you. Happy Birthday Sweetie.

Thank you ALIKATT
