A HUNDRED SUNS
A hundred suns may rise
And even more may set,
Before I have what I seek,
But I cannot forget.

I have made a promise,
To make true this quest,
And I am very serious
On this I do not jest.

Looking for my future,
Seeking deep for me,
Searching every place I go,
For whatever I can be.

A hundred moons may rise,
Perhaps a hundred more,
Before I end my journey
And walk in through your door.

Be patient as I wander,
Through sunrise and sunset,
Bless this time I’m taking,
And Please do not forget.

Finding me is important,
Loving me is much more,
For I cannot give love,
Until I pass through that door.

Love me as I am right now,
Stay with me and care,
Love me with your being,
My love then I can share.

Sunrises are a certainty,
Moon light follows day,
Just remember that I want
To love in every way.
