I know this is the first time I am made any changes or additions to this page, but to be purrrrfectly honest I have been to busy living the ideal cat life and saw no need to. However my human has was locked out of these pages for nearly 9 months and has been kept busy getting the links checked. Recently something at my house, that brings me here making an update, because I think ALL of you should hear and remember my story. December 21st, 2000 One month ago today, my human's mother came to visit. OK, no big deal you say right? Just one more human to ignore. Not so. This lady brought with her this huge ugly black creature, that began making horrible sounds the minute he entered the house! Then he precedes to chase me and Furby all over the house, and took refuge in the small space under the human's bed. This fool animal sticks part of his head down there and continues to make this maddening sound, until finally my human drags him away. We spent two whole days back there, sneaking out only at night when the creature (who I found out was a dog*) was locked in its master's room. On the third day I climbed onto the tall dresser and preceded to sit there for the entire day (well, yeah, I did sleep too). I heard my human and her mother talking about her leaving the next day, and all I could think was "Hallalooya" we will have our house back again! Not to be. The other human was leaving but her stupid dog was remaining for a week. OK, well a week can't be forever. Furby and I continue or nightly vigils to the kitchen for a day or two and then our human comes up with this plan that seems to be working pretty good. Me and the Furb's get the run of the house from midnight until about an hour after she gets up... The dog sleeps in their room (Hey we have never gotten to do that!) and then goes outside for a while. Then we go to our bedroom (the guest room) for 3-4 hours so IT can be with the humans. Then from about 3-6 he is outside again and we run. He is in all evening until bedtime, so we snooze in out big queensized bed. The real crushing blow, now do get me wrong here, I know she is my human's mother and all BUT) the news come that my human's mom has been injured and will not be coming back, maybe for months. MONTHS? We are expected to live like this for MONTHS? . December 30th, 2000: What a surprise! The human's mother returned tonight, and seems to be walking just fine to me. She was so delighted to be reunited with her dog it almost made me cry...NOT. OK, maybe this means IT will finally be leaving here soon. January 3th, 2001 Well, since Sunday we have been sleeping anywhere we want nights, but we were shifted back to the human's bedroom so THE dog could sleep with his human in the front room. This is some progess at any rate! January 5th, 2001 Well this morning when I got woke up at 6 AM I was kinda miffed. However it did not take me long to realize what was happening. The other human was loading suitcases and stuff into a car. I know from the past that that means someone is leaving. Suddenly THE dog was put on his lease and taken out to the car. My heart nearly stopped! Does this mean he is leaving? Foever? Make my day! Sure enough after a few minute's the house got quiet, and as I walked around freely for the first time in 6 weeks there was NO sign of a DOG anywhere! Now Furb's and I can really celebrate the New Year, and may I wish you all one too? Back toO'Cali Cats
