Be Safe

In the winter of 1996, an unfortunate bison fell into this hot spring, located near Old Faithful geyser and just a few steps from the boardwalk. The adolescent bison died quickly in the nearly boiling hot water of Blue Star Spring. Please be careful around the thermal features. Past park visitors have suffered a similar fate as this poor bison. Don't be the next victim.
