Atomic Lizard Ranch
Mid September my associate Malcolm Meacham and myself had
the occasion to visit the Atomic Lizard Ranch. Situated in the Southeastern Arizona desert town of
Bisbee it is hard to imagine a more appropriate local to raise Bearded Dragons, Rankins
Dragons and other heat loving lizards. What struck me first was the unique outdoor
enclosures. Converted stock tanks seemed the perfect "raising" facility for
growing lizards. All the animals seemed healthy and lively in the Arizona sunshine.
Collette and Paul Latimer were gracious hosts and took us on the grand tour. They not only
have an impressive number of animals, but the color morphs of the "Beardies" was
incredible. From what I saw I would recommend looking into the Atomic Reptile Ranch if you
are interested in quality lizards.
