the story
el guapo grew up in the barrios, of bellmore, new york. where he grew up, it was a fight just to survive and live another day. walking through his neighborhood was like walking through a warzone. he dropped out of school to help support his family, working construction at the age of thirteen. since then, his life has been a struggle, a fight just to keep ahead of the game. however, all these trials and hardships did one thing right. they prepared him for competition in extremely extreme wrestling. guapo's no hold barred, all out, suicidal style has made the transition to the wrestling ring an easy one. as a matter of fact, within less than six months of his debut, he was already touted as the "next star" with the upset win over the legendary ice tre, and the winning of his first title the bareknux championship. his rise in the ranks hasn't come alone, however. he has also risen in popularity (including an increased respect from his peers.) we can be sure that guapo, who slipped through the cracks growing up, won't do the same in the wrestling world.
