the story
vinnie smooth used to wrestle under a mask, as the "mystery man," a perennial jobber in the federation's early years.  however, he came out of the crowd, after a long absence, and confronted the commissioner.  see, the powers that be in extremely extreme wrestling saw some talent in smooth, but just thought that he was too weird looking (too damn ugly to be blunt) to get over with the crowd.  hence, they threw a mask on him to cover up his deformity, and called him the "mystery man." seems this didn't sit too well with vinnie, who thought he was, well, smooth.  so, he's recently descarded the mask, and begun wrestling under his given name.  anyways, there isn't much to this kid other then the whole ugly factor.  i mean, you can picture what his high school career was like.  constant teasing, beatings, and taking his cousin to the senior prom. (and even she was ugly, and had to be paid.)  either way, i guess the constant abuse is good, cause it gave him a lot of pent up hostility, to release upon his opponent.  and i guess the beatings made him stronger, or at least harder to beat up.
