Side ViewThis is the truck I am about to restore. It is almost complete, except for missing an engine and a transmission ;-)

I am told that it is a 1957 or 1958 IHC, but I don't think it all is. From what I can tell, the cab looks like an International Harvester, 1958/9 B series, but the grille is wrong, and I think the bed has either been highly customized, or else is from a different truck - possibly not even an IH. I know someone played around with the dash, including making a nice new wooden dash, and cutting chunks out of the old metal one.

The license check I ran on the truck to find out more about it's past didn't pan out because DMV has no record of it.

Each picture is a link to a larger and better copy of the same picture. If you recognize parts of this truck, and can help me identify it, please email me.

Below are a few more views. Notice the curved/cut out corner supports for the bed, and what I'm guessing is a custom built bumper. The rear fenders don't look stock to me either.

Front QuarterBelow is a picture of the detached grille, conveniently missing any identifying insigna. The little square in the middle is someone else's addition.

No EngineHere is the engine compartment, missing engine and tranny, the drive shaft is in the bed.

Here is the wooden dash that someone made, nicely carved, space for lots of dials, some unconnected red lights... and another picture of the original mangled dash.
