The nice thing about libertarian philosophy is that it is eclectic.
It is not a blind acceptance of some incoherent constellation of values, but
rather a principled blend of The Good, The Right, The Just and The Free. That is the reason that Libertarians find good values in both conservative and liberal concepts. That is why I was pleased today to hear Mr. Conservative, Rush Limbaugh, touting an essay in the New York Times, by Mr. Liberal, George McGovern. It's a nice grin :) when Rankin!, Limbaugh and McGovern find themselves on the same side of an issue. The following essay by George McGovern is so to the point that I determined it would be a waste of time to try to improve on it. Therefore I've transplanted it as-is to freewillie's FreeLand! Read it. Enjoy it. Learn from it. |
