Inside the warehouse.
"Listen if you hear any sounds. Zac, give me the flashlight." Taylor reaches for the flashlight. "I don't hear a thing. Come on, let's check things out. I have the flashlight, so it's best if I take the lead here." "Wow, is it dark in here, or what. All windows are covered. This is spooky." Zac walks right behind Taylor, after him comes Ike. "Hmmm, this is indeed very interesting. I can't see a clue that there are people in here. Tay, let's go back to the door. There's nobody in this place." Isaac just wants to turn around, when they hear a strange noise. "What is that? It sounds like something shoved over the ground. It came from the second floor." Zac heads towards the stairs. "Zac, wait, let me go in front. I have the light, remember?" "Oh yeah. It must be the excitement." Taylor climbs the first few staircases, then he holds still to listen. Not a sound. Taylor continues climbing the stairs. Ike and Zac follow him in his wake. At the top of the stairs Tay shines the flashlight. "I don't see anybody. It's totally empty in here." "I guess you're right, Tay. There's not a door either. I think this isn't the right warehouse." Isaac goes down the stairs. "No, let's get outside and get some fresh air. It's rather not fresh inside this building." Zac follows Ike's example. Outside Isaac waits for Zac and Taylor. Tay comes through the door first. "Ike, can you show that map again? Where is the next warehouse?" "Yeah, let me see it too." Zac examines the map. "Hey, the next warehouse is on 64th street. That's right behind this one!" "Yeah, we just have to climb over that fence, and we are there." Zac, Tay and Ike walk to the fence and climb over it. "Okay, suppose they are in this warehouse, we have to stay low to the ground. Else they might spot us." "So you suggest we have to crawl?" "That's exactly what I'm suggesting. And stay behind the bushes as much as possible." The three are getting on all fours, and crawl as fast as they can to the backdoor. They crawl through the grass, through bushes and through the mud. "Man, I feel like Rambo! This is pretty cool. Wait, I'll cover my face with mud, so they won't notice me that easily." Zac grabs a hand full of dirt, and rubs it in his face. "Oh man, Zac! What are you doing! Sometimes you can be such a weirdo." Taylor has to laugh and Isaac is rolling his eyes. Ike can't help it, but a smile appears on his face too. "Well, mister Rambo, are you done?" "Yup. Ready for the mission, sir!" "Good, then crawl on." Isaac crawls further.
The guys have reached the door. Taylor listens with his ear against the door. "Hmmm, it's quiet in here too. Let's go inside anyway." Taylor opens the door. Isaac turns around to Zac. "Zac, if anything happens, I'm right with ya, you hear? Besides, I think you can handle a dangerous situation by yourself. You lift the most weight in the gym, so you just have to punch a guy to knock him out. Okay?" "OK, I'll try to remember that when a nasty man is facing me." "Good. Now go inside." Zac and Ike enter the warehouse. Taylor is still waiting for them. "What took you guys so long?" "A little pep talk, that's all." "Hey, that pep talk contained the truth! I lift the most weight!" "Tay, go ahead man. Lead the way." In a row the brothers enter another room. "Ike, over here! See that?" Taylor points to an ashtray. "Hey, somebody has been smoking in here not so long ago. This could be the warehouse." "Look, there are two doors." Zac sneaks over to the doors and puts his ear against one of them. "Zac, can you hear anything?" "No, maybe the other door." In expectation Ike and Tay watch Zac listening. "Guys, I hear voices! Oh man, I believe I hear Charlie and the little man talk." "What are they saying? Tell us." "I can't hear it, I just hear some mumbling. Oh no. Footsteps are coming this way!" "Quick, hide! What's behind that other door, Zac?" Zac opens the other door. "Looks like a closet." "Get in there, we're coming too." Isaac and Tay run into the closet. Zac closes the door. Just after Zac closed the door, the other door opens. Charlie and the little man step outside. "Charlie, I tell you, we have to catch those Hanson guys. They have seen us." "Simon, how many times do I have to tell you, it was too dark for them to see us. Don't worry about that. Now, we have to make sure that the loot is in a safe place." "Boss, I know this woman, she's a good friend of mine. Her name is Maxine, but everybody calls her Smooth Lips." "Hmm, interesting name. Is she reliable?" "Yeah, she owes me." "Okay, let's take the money to her. Let's go." "Are you sure that the girl is safe with Harry?" "I don't know, but we don't have anybody else to watch her in here, do we? And I don't give a damn if he hurts her." Isaac, Taylor and Zac hear the men disappear. "Oh my, we better find Irene quick!" Zac opens the closet door and steps outside. "Yeah, but Harry is still with her. I bet he's a very big man." "Let's find out then. Tay, we will follow you through that other door." Taylor grabs the doorknob and twists it around. Behind the door are wooden stairs going down. "I guess these stairs go straight to the cellar. I bet Irene is down there." Taylor goes down the stairs. Zac and Ike are behind him. "Shhh, quiet guys. I think that Harry can hear us on the stairs." At the end of the stairs is a door with a small window in it. Tay looks through the little window. "Oh my god! I can see Irene, she's tied up on a chair. And she's blind folded too! Those bastards! As if a girl like Irene could possibly harm a man!" Taylor's head has turned red from anger. "Tay, relax. We will get her out of there, trust me." Zac puts his hand on Tay's shoulder. "Tay, can you step aside? I want to see Harry." Zac peeks through the little window, and there is Harry, smoking a cigarette. "Wow, Harry is big! No muscles though, only fat. I think I can take him." "Zac, is he armed?" "Uhm, no, well, his gun is on the table, and that is at the other end of the room." "This is my plan. We run inside. Zac, you punch the guy knock out, okay? In the meantime, Tay and I try to free Irene from the ropes." "Okay, I'll open the door and smack that guy on the face!" "Here we go… one, two, three!"
