Easter Greeting
- Nature Bespeaks The Resurrection -

Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life:
he that believeth in me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live. "
John 11:25

The resurrection of man is just as reasonable as the resurrection of nature.  The cold, harsh wintry winds which seem opposed to us sweep down from the frozen North, biting and chilling all nature, stripping the trees of their foliage, turning the grass into the color of death.  But they later return as gentle breezes in friendly fashion from the warm Southland, resurrecting all sleeping vegetation into a more beautiful life.

Surely man, the crowning glory of creation shall fare as well as a vegetable!  Surely the Creator who has the power to resurrect nature shall not fail to use that power on man!

A Prayer From My Heart
My heavenly Father, You are so amazing!  I am in awe when I think of Your steadfast love which has never failed me.  At times I have sought You.  Other times I have run away, as if either of the two could change Your ever present Spirit.   When I felt I was far from You, Your voice still spoke to me as I wandered in darkness.  Who can hide themselves from Your care?  When I was faithful, You were there.  When I was unfaithful, You were still there.  Thank You, my Lord for your grace toward us, that wonderful assurance that nothing can sever us from Your complete and utter love. . . not a 'conditional' love as the world offers, but an unspeakable gift of pure and constant agape love,  a kind of love that seems too wonderful to know.  My pen shall write of Your glory and I shall praise You with poetry.   Thank You for allowing pain in my life without which I would not and could not realize Your mercy and power to deliver me.  Thank You for teaching me wisdom in the midst of pain.   Thank You for Your joy which gives me strength.  I've never known a joy that compares with the joy of being in Your presence.  Thank You for my family, Lord - a most handsome husband who loves me more than any person I've known in life, who'd lasso the moon for me (if it were possible), who is happy when I am happy, sad when I am sad, hurt when I am hurt, who shares in all my joys, sorrows, and sufferings.  Thank You for entrusting to us, four beautiful children.  May we not disappoint You while they are in our care.  We shall teach them the ways of  our God and His word.  May they grow up in the knowledge of the truth and may the fruit of their lips and hands bring praise and glory to Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ.  Who is like You, O God?  Only You give us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness.  Great is thy faithfulness!  Amen -
