Let Autumn Speak . . .
Thomas Kinkade - Autumn Lane (1995)Lord, help me leave behind that dusty road
of painful memories from those lonesome times
when curves had laid their extra-heavy load
and burdened down my heart with empty rhymes! There's comfort in Your straight and narrow way,
though shadows beckon for our hungry hearts,
Your Word, we'll hearken - hearing all You say
to quench the enemy's burning, fiery darts! My Jesus, help my brothers toward Thy gate!
Dear Shepherd go and find that lingering one
who's wandering in the wilderness quite late -
as Autumn speaks of Summer's setting sun.And though you've found the ninety and the nine,
Your love intends that none be left behind -
Go find that one who's heart is searching Thine
as leaves of Autumn turn, I pray You'll find!
