- The Prayers We Cannot Hear -

Sometimes our strength is found
in the prayers we cannot hear,
those spoken by our Advocate
who holds us very dear.

He lifts us up before God's throne
with earnest, blood-bought prayers,
and stands beside us in the gap,
to plead over all our cares.

He prays for us from heaven
seated at the Father's right hand,
His kind acts and His mercies
far outnumber earth's grains of sand.

He leads us toward His lighthouse
when our souls are tossed and torn,
bound up by wrong decisions
which have left us tired and worn.

His kindness is quite plenteous
and it's gloriously true -
that no evil can befall our path
that JESUS can't undo.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray
one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent
prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
