Jackyline's Daily Routine

Everybody's life is like a routine, one cycle after another. Some are tired of it: they want to change it by traveling, or take a vacation. Nonetheless, here is how Jackyline spends her days. She gets up at 6:15, then goes to the bathroom and brushes her teeth. At 6:30, she needs to get dressed. Standing in front of her clothes, she can't decide what to wear. That is why she eats breakfast at 7. About 7:15, someone picks her up. Jackyline's home is far from the Extension Center, so she usually gets to school at 8. Her first class is composition, which starts at 9. From 8 to 9, she usually corrects her composition homework or goes on the Internet. Her second class is grammar, which starts at 11. From 10 to 11, she doesn't have a class. She usually uses this hour to correct her grammar homework or discuss grammar questions with her friends. When she finishes the grammar class, it is lunch time. She only has a half hour to eat her lunch because she has Internet Class at 12:30. From 1:30 to 2:30, she has another break. Sometimes she goes to the language lab. From 2:30 to 3:30 is Idioms and Vocabulary class. Her classes are finished at 3:30. She usually does her homework, chats with friends, or goes on the Internet to find out what is going on back home in Hong Kong. Her car-pool ride comes for her around 5; at 5:45 she gets home. Sometimes she has to prepare her own dinner because her aunt and uncle are not home. At 6:15, she finishes her dinner and does the dishes. She takes a shower at 6:30; after the shower she feels more comfortable. Then, at 7, she does her homework or writes letters to her family and friends. By the time she has finished all her homework and correspondence it is already 11: bedtime.
We can see Jackyline's life is very typical and not exciting. I have read detective novels in which a clever killer is able to murder people because he knows their exact routines. Changing one's routine can not only add more enjoyment to one's existence but also prolong it.
