Sharon and Language Lab
Kazuto Nakahara, 701
Sharon loves to spend her time in the language lab. As soon as she wakes up, at 8, she begins to think about what to study in the lab that day. After brushing her teeth, washing her face and having breakfast, she goes to school. She has classes at 9 and 11 in the morning. She has free time between 10 and 11, so she goes to the language lab. In the afternoon, she has another two classes. She is always in the language lab when she has free time. She goes home at six, because that's when the lab closes. At home, she has dinner, makes lunch for the next day, watches TV and does homework. Around midnight, she goes to bed. Every day, she spends over four hours in the language lab. If the language lab stayed open until 8, as it did last quarter, she would spend six hours there. She is planning to go to business school, so she needs a high score on the TOEFL test. So, even though she seems to love spending her time in the language lab, the truth might be that she hates it.
