A Day for TOEFL

Sachiko Shimogama, 701

Jun, who has a goal, never wastes time. He spends half his day preparing for graduate school. He is studying for the TOEFL test. The first thing he does every day is take a shower -- at six in the morning! By eight, well before the first period, he is studying at the language lab. He also uses his free time between classes to study for the TOEFL. As soon as his classes are over, at 3:20, he goes to the language lab and practices for the computer-based TOEFL. After he gets home, he watches the news on TV, which he thinks will help him improve his listening comprehension score. From eight to twelve, he does his homework and studies some more for the TOEFL. He usually goes to bed at twelve.
One fourth of his day is spent sleeping. He studies at least thirteen hours a day. Even though he is quite busy with all his homework, he has been managing his time so as to "beat the TOEFL."
