She resided in 1942 in 1801 Calvert, Beacon Apts.. She died on 31 Dec 1974 in Silver Springs, Montgomery County, Md.. She was buried on 2 Jan 1975 in St, Mark's Epiccopal Cemetery, Highland, MD.. She was a in Nurse. She was educated in Brooksville Academy, Brooksville, Md.. Notes from David Souder:
Ethel attended Brooksville Academy in Brooksville, Md. This was an exclusive, private School for girls and probably where she became a nurse. Ethel was a nurse on Capitol Hill in the Senate or House of Representatives. Ethel married late in life to a well to do man in Montgomery, Md., Robert Sanders, a realtor. At the end of her life, Ethel lived with Harold and Evelyn. She was later admitted to a nursing home. Ethel paid $50 to Harold for her plot at St. Mark's. Her husband was buried with his first wife.

Sanders, Ethel Brown - On Tuesday, Dec. 31, 1974, of Silver Springs, Md., beloved wife of the late Robert Sanders; aunt of Harold W. Brown, Kathryn B. Douglas, Jean B. Burney and Paul Brown. Friends will be received at Pumphrey's Bethesda Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, Md. On Wed., 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. where services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 1 PM. She was married to Robert Lee SAUNDERS in 1948 in St Annes Epicopal Church, Annapolis, Md..
