St. Mark's P.E. Church was crowded to its upmost capacity on Tues. afternoon
by the relatives and friends of Miss Ada Souder to witness her marriage to Mr.
Edward Phillips of Wash., D.C. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W.B. Turner,Pastor
of the church. The organist played the wedding march. The bride, an extremely
handsome brunette of the prettiest type, is a daughter of the late Thomas Souder.
She was very becomingly gowned in a beautiful traveling dress of brown broadcloth
with hat and gloves to match. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. & Mrs. Phillips
left for Thier future home in Wash., D.C. Mrs. Phillips leaves a large circle
of friends to whom her gentle disposition and winning sweetness of character
have greatly endeared her. She was the recipient of many presents. Testimonials
of their best wishes for her happiness.
