Sowder and wife Adaline Sowder, of Claiborne County, Tennessee hereby sell, transfer and convey to James Sowder as trustee, a certain tract or parcel of land situated and lying in the 6th civil district of Claiborne County, Tennessee, the same being the tract or plot of land on the farm which we now own about one mile north of the town of Arthur and known as the family grave yard or burrying ground and bounded as follows: Beginning on a set stone; thence west 75 feet to a stone; thence south 75 feet to a stone; thence east 75 feet to a stone; thence north 75 feet to the beginning.
To have and to hold the said premises to the said James Sowder and his heirs forever in the trust for the following purposes and no other. That is to say that I am desireous of dedicating said lot for the purpose of a burrying ground for myself and for all the members of my family and their descendants for ever, and for the purpose of lodging the legal title some where I have hereby created the said James Sowder trustee and conveyed the same to him in trust to be forever held by him and his heirs as such trustee forever for the sold purpose above set out. Also a convenient way of ingress and egress is hereby excepted and reserved over my said farm to and from said burrying ground herein dedicated, which way of ingress and egress is reserved for myself and all the member of my family and their descendants forever
