As we did the prior year, we gathered at the AppleBee's in St. Louis,
MO.

We must really be jinxed out in Hays, KS!! This year, it was Gary's
intercooler hose that decided to force us to have a longer-than-planned lunch at
Arby's!!

.
Brendan (a.k.a. "McGuyver), Gary and Christian work some
magic!!
.
We just HAD to stop at the BIG ice cream cone... out of respect for Eric
and Elizabeth!!
.
Just what do people think when 22 Audis take over the road on the way up
to the base of the mountain?
.
Our "token" stop partway up the mountain... hmm...Ingo... what's that
smoking under your hood?
.
"Okay.. Ingo's V-8 is fine... let's go!!"
.
As one obnoxious, drunk spectator was overheard saying... "What is
this... a f*cking Audi convention!?"
.
Yep... there's snow up there in them-thar hills...
.
After finally convincing the workers at the top that we DID have
reservations there at Devil's Playground, we settled down for a great day of
comraderie and motorsport action.
