The Stewart Motorsports Sprint Car Racing Team traveled to LimaLand Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio this weekend. Driver JR Stewart wanted to get a race under his belt before the next weekends all important Challenger Series Race, that LimaLand Motorsports Park will be hosting. Qualifying time trials are not held at this track, each driver draws a number for his starting position in the heat race lineup. An unlucky draw put the team in the last starting position for their heat race. JR moved the yellow #37 sprint car into a 4th place finishing position, making him eligible for a redraw position in the A-main event. JR's second draw went much better and he lined the Stewart Motorsports sprint car in the 4th position for the A-main event. Twenty-two winged race cars took the green flag for an exciting 25 laps on the tight 1/3 mile dirt track. JR maneuvered his sprint car thru the heavy lapped traffic, with the leaders of the race, bringing the Stewart Motorsports Sprint Car Racing team home in an exciting 4th place finish.
